About READ

Small Group of Individuals who are fortunate enough to get educated in globally renowned schools founded this organization to become the change agents. They realized that issues such as poverty are the worst malady and that the remedy was education, healthcare and social development. READ set out to refine, define and foster a prosperous rural life that will help to end generational cycles of poverty and disease and provide a foundation for sustainable development

All members of READ work on a voluntary basis with no financial compensation. We plan to keep administrative expenses as less as two-three per cent of all funds raised. We plan to utilize technology and communication tools & emails to work/network globally amongst our partners, associate foundations, donors and volunteers. We plan to share status updates, project status reports etc on-line and over the e-mails. We value every little contribution made and plan to operate with utmost transparency sharing critical information such as financial statements, tax returns etc made available upon request.
